Friday Night Funkin is more enjoyable than other games because you can relate to the characters. Sometimes, I feel like these Friday Night Funkin characters are real with amazing stories behind them.
Sometimes, it seems that the more you interact with them, the more you understand and appreciate why they do what they do. This is a completely human quality if you will.
Here is a list of some of my favorite Friday Night Funkin characters. They were not ranked based on their power or talents.
My top 10 Friday night funkin’ characters are selected based on their ‘personability’ and awesomeness.
Friday Night Funkin Characters
- Pico
Pico is one of the most popular Funkin’ kid characters. Pico defeated an alien who wanted to end the human race by himself. He’s also the only student to have ever tried an apple, out of the 8 others.
Pico’s personality and style of play were something I checked out a while ago.
Pico has been around since 1999, according to our research. Pico is actually a character that has been around since 1999. Pico even has his own game. Isn’t that cool?
Tom Fulp is the original inventor of Pico’s School and Pico vs Uberkids as well as other similar games.
He is also one of my most trusted characters. I know he will always be there for you no matter what.
Pico, despite his many abilities, is an incredible character. I hope to see him more often or even make him playable in the game.
- Boyfriend
Who wouldn’t be enamored of a blue-haired midget with so much talent? Boyfriend is the most adorable character in Friday Night Funkin, and I believe the ladies would readily agree with this statement.
Boyfriend is one of the most compassionate characters in the game. Boyfriend has the tendency to want to always protect his Girlfriend, regardless of any disadvantages.
Most women will find this adorable, and I believe that seeing him go to great lengths to maintain his relationship with his Girlfriend is a source of inspiration for many guys.
For gamers, Boyfriend is the protagonist in Friday Night Funkin. He is a player who always sets out on a quest for his Girlfriend. Both are adorably innocent, and they often find themselves in dangerous situations without realizing it.
- Tankman
Tankman is another favorite character of mine. He loves to rap, which is something I love! Instead of killing Boyfriend and Girlfriend, he held Girlfriend hostage in the desert and challenged Boyfriend for a rap battle.
Yes, he does love to rap.
Tankman is a rap legend. He should curse at you when you lose a rap battle with him — one of the most hilarious and painful moments in the game.
It is great to have your own army. That is something I find very cool. They seem to want to follow him. He is probably a great leader.
- Girlfriend
My girlfriend is a beautiful girl with a dark side. You should never be with her. Although she could be dangerous, that is exactly what makes her so charming and will keep you wanting to keep her forever.
Girlfriend is an adorable demon. Although she acts and looks like a beautiful human lady, her parents are demons. She is also the Boyfriend’s love interest on Friday Night Funkin.
Girlfriend is my favorite character. It’s because we all have dark fantasies about a demon and a human falling in love that these romantic scenes are so popular.
It is so cute how she sits on the speaker when there is a rap battle. Regardless, the thing I love most about Girlfriend’s is her willingness to support her Boyfriend in every way possible.
She is supportive of Boyfriend as well as Girlfriend. They are probably so inseparable because of that.
- Pump
You can’t blame me. The spooky month is loved by everyone. Pump and Skid are best buddies. In week 2, they will be going head-to-head with Boyfriend in a rap battle. I think they have some really great lines in their songs.
Skid and Pump often team up to create the spooky children. Although they both are good at the game, Pump is my favorite because of his deep voice and classic delivery. It almost makes me want to give Pump a pat on his back for a job well accomplished.
- Skid
You can love one of the spooky children but not the other. Pump is Skid’s partner. Skid is obsessed with October, and his Halloween costume makes him absolutely adorable.
I love his spooky dance and how his skull seems to come alive with every step.
- Mommy Mearest
Mommy Mearest was the mother of Girlfriend. Like most mothers, she is protective of her daughter.
Because of her interference in Boyfriend/Girlfriend’s relationships, it is easy to be harsh about her. If you’re a parent, however, you’ll understand that she is just trying to look out for her daughter and want the best for her.
Mommy Mearest is a very protective person. Boyfriend often gets into rap battles with Mommy Mearest, and she seems to lose quite a bit. But I love her voice. She sings almost like an angel, but she’s a demon.
Some of her songs are very interesting, and I find myself singing along to some of them while doing casual work at home, particularly the MILF song.
- Monster
Monster is my favorite Friday night Funkin character. Monster is a monster, and I consider him to be the greatest trickster of all the characters.
In week two, he was a bug and made his debut in the game in week five. He almost fooled the kids by pretending that Girlfriend was candy, tricking them into giving Girlfriend to him. He is a trickster.
He has some of the most bizarre lines, which can give you nightmares and chills if you’re paying attention. He creates horrors using words, as though he’s an artist with paint and a brush in his hands. The cursed lemon boy may be a monster.
- Daddy Dearest
Daddy Dearest was the first person I didn’t like. However, I have come to understand him more as I place myself in his shoes.
Sometimes, I believe he crosses the line to protect his child. Pico was once hired to kill Boyfriend because he couldn’t leave his little girl alone.
I can only imagine what the game would have been if he hired Hank, one of the best assassins in Madness Combat to kill Boyfriend rather than Pico, who was merciful to Boyfriend due to their relationship.
Daddy Dearest is a Friday night Funkin character that I think is underrated. He’s too easy to beat, and sometimes I wish he was more determined to fight for himself than hiring help.
- Senpai
Senpai is a character that high school students will love. His pixelated design makes him look cool and handsome.
He wants Girlfriend to be his and wants to get rid of Boyfriend.
In week 6, he rapped against Boyfriend to win Girlfriend’s affection. During the second song, he appears to have become frustrated and made some harsh comments to Boyfriend.
